This is a very compelling storyline, and I especially appreciate that the characters are older. The world and characters are rendered with a delicious depth and subtlety of emotion, and the setting/premise allows for a unique exploration of grief, loss, and political intrigue. Very well done, and I look forward to future builds.
I absolutely LOVE the world building in this story, the way that each character has their own personality and the way it shapes the interactions they have with each other.
[Spoilers]
I adore how easily and naturally the conversations flow when Cantor and Darwin are talking casually amongst themselves, especially the silences that happen occasionally because it makes it so much more immersive to read. It’s similar with the observatory scene too, the tension being displayed clearly and leaving a heavy feeling in the air just on words alone. The clashing views on the same topics makes for a lovely opposition that just feels great to read through.
This isn’t exclusively to only the third build, but I felt the need to comment on it—the way each character has different poses and expressions rather than static ones really adds to the story, giving a layer of depth to it. Personally, I find myself addicted to constantly trying to see how the sprites change from a previous one because of the small, subtle shifts that you recognize without even realizing it.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again hundred times over: this needs more attention ASAP. Can’t wait for more
Just finished the second update and I am HOOKED; the world is really fascinating and the character writing is strong as hell, I'm fully on board for this project. I'm really excited to see where it goes and I'll be watching it with bated breath!
Hells below the second build was AMAZING. I spent the early AMs binging it due to how invested I am in the story.
[SPOILERS]
I was not expecting there to be perspective swaps between Darwin and Cantor, but am so glad there are. It feels as if there’s so much more personality added to them when given each of their views.
Overall, I absolutely love this visual novel, and it one hundred percent needs more attention cause damn, it’s great. Will be both patiently and eagerly awaiting the next build.
An amazing first build~! 😁 Xou really captured the emotions of each character well and also did a great job with laying out the foundations for the world we’re discovering 🙂
Love the art, the pacing, and the writting. I’m eagerly looking forward to where this tale might go~ 😌 thank xou for all the hard work xou’ve done 💜
[SPOILER]
Will there be any sex scenes? Coz I quite literally found myself going “Ahhhw! 😖” when the first build ended like that 😅 what a tease! 😐
Thank you! Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to be a bit of a tease here - In spite of the characters occasionally getting up to steamy stuff, I'm currently not planning on including anything beyond a fade to black here and there.
They definitely have their place in some stories, but full blown sex scenes are less of a fit for my current vision for Solstice Eve 😅
EDIT: Well nevermind lmao. After thinking about it, I've expanded the ending for day 7 in build 2, adding a proper sex scene lol.

I played the first build around christmas and I just finished the new update.
So far, I really enjoy the story, we really feel that it has been put in motion and I can't wait to see how it resolves! 😁
The characters and their dynamics are both very cool! My favourites for now are Cantor and Darwin (so much for originality 🙂), but also Ella and Vera.
Can't wait for the next update!

Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Looooove this so far. Cantor and Darwin are perfect
From my (totally not biased) position as the person who made both of them, I also think they are very cool people.

I'm very glad to hear that, because that was something that I was very excited to get to do after the first build!

Ah, that’s too bad, was really looking forward to some werebear action~ 😋 Thankx for the response, and keep up all the good work! 😁
Discovered this hidden gym on New Year's Eve and what a timing for the story setting and the vibes it gives.
Cool premise and the world building seems very interesting to leave us craving for more.
I really like this concept of magic as a studied science rather than a fantastical, unexplained power, it really makes you delve into the dynamics.
Also, great written piece that Cantor is, could relate to him in lots of moments and I am glad I share his sarcastic way of seeing the world.
Looking forward to more!
The worldbuilding and magic were certainly a big focus of mine working on this, so I'm glad those stood out!
期待了好久,等不及游玩了。
