Cantor Yagon couldn't love his wife. Having been sent as an emissary to a cold and foreign land, their marriage was that of political convenience, made worse by his preference for men. Following her unfortunate death, he is lost.

Darwin Norland-Brice loved nothing more than his wife.  The years following her death have been the hardest of his life, his isolation made even worse by the turmoils of being one of the only therianthropes in the city.

Their pasts couldn't be any more different, but when the two men meet, a budding relationship starts to form. However, when the cause of his wife's death is suddenly called into question, and Cantor's monotone life is plunged into chaos.  

Was her death really an accident? What was the conspiracy that she had been investigating before she died? And when the core of said conspiracy seems to lie within the very mage's guild that Cantor belongs to... what will uncovering it lead to?

There's still a few final things to be done before it's complete, but after a bit more than a year of work, Solstice Eve's first build (clocking in at around 30k words) is closer than ever! There still isn't a set date in mind, but as mentioned in my previous post, it'll be released by the end of this month! This is probably the largest project I've ever worked on, and I'm excited to take the first step towards bringing it to life and seeing it through!
